About Blake Pang

Blake Pang is the President & CEO of United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra (UWNNS) as well as an elected member of the United Way Worldwide (UWW) Network Advisory Council (NAC).  At UWNNS, he leads one of the largest geographical regions out of all United Ways across the world and grew UWNNS’s revenues by more than 300% since his first year on the job (2022).  As a member of the NAC, he collaborates with the UWW Leadership Staff and Board to ensure that local United Way voices inform their decisions as well as advises them on the network’s strategic direction.Blake has spent more than 20 years in the nonprofit sector serving in the states of Hawaii, Ohio, Washington, Oregon and Nevada.  He is married to an Educator and has a teenage daughter.  Recently, he was asked by the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders to share his story during a national Economic Impact Briefing.In 2025, Blake was recognized as a Community Icon by the Nevada State Legislature Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Committee.
